Hi everyone,

Can't begin to describe how much fun we've had out on our tour recently! It's been fantastic to play at a load of new venues and meet some new fans. To everyone who has come out to the gigs and supported us, thank you so much! We can't wait to do it again soon. The last leg is upon us starting this Sunday with a trip down to the West Country, finishing at St Ives jazz club on April 4th.

We've also got some fantastic new gigs to announce for April, including April 6th at Cambridge 'Hidden Rooms' and then a return to London at the legendary Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club on April 18th in a double bill with World Service Project. Yup, we are super excited about that one! Tickets here:

In the meantime, here's a cheeky little clip of an improvised, Wayne Krantz inspired jam from a particularly vibey gig on our tour, Cafe Lento, Leeds, featuring UK electric bass star Robin Mullarkey stepping in on bass. Video courtesy of Nigel Slee from Jazz North. Hope you enjoy it and stay tuned for more....

Lift Off!

FLYING MACHINES are absolutely delighted to declare that our Kickstarter campaign has been nothing short of a total triumph, a whopping great £3,647 raised thanks to the generosity of 117 backers. We never doubted it for a second :)

We attracted a lot of great press throughout the campaign which really helped us to get the word out, big thanks to London Jazz News and Leeds College of Music for some great features!

Things have been moving quickly ever since and we're just about ready to sign off on the master, which sounds every bit as impactful and dynamic as we could have hoped for. Looking forward to sharing it with the world, not long to go now! Stay tuned....

Welcome to the new website! We hope you agree that it looks rather magnificent. This is the place to be for everything and anything related to FLYING MACHINES. We’ve got loads of news that we’re just bursting to share with you regarding the album release and a whopping great big national tour  - but for now, just have a good rummage around, join our mailing list on the contact page and get lost in the scenery.

Keep soaring, you.

Much Love,

Flying Machines
